I’m Aimée. I’m a writer by trade and a storyteller by heart. I’m a heritage lover, period property enthusiast and wanna-be gardener.

My life has always been words. The happiest moments of my childhood where spent sitting in front of the fire listening to my mother read aloud from ‘The Hobbit’ or hidden beneath blanket devouring ‘The Famous Five’ by torch light into the wee hours. Story has always been at the heart of everything.

I studied for a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature & Creative Writing at Bath Spa University, learning the craftsmanship of language and how to read like a writer. Something that always fascinated me was ‘the spirit of place’ and the stories places held. I went on to study a Master’s degree in Heritage Management, specialising in literary interpretation.

My love of words took me as a teacher to Romania and Germany, helping students grasp the intricacies and beauty of the English language.

Nowadays, I use my word-smithery to help businesses of all shapes and sizes with their communications and marketing collateral. From shaping brand voice and building an effective sales funnel, to crafting product descriptions and direct response ads, I love using language to move and stir people into taking action - the kind of action your business is seeking.

I work both in agency and freelance with clients Historic Royal Palaces, Historic England, Transport for London, Pret and MOO to off-grid printmakers and indie magazines. I work closely as a writer for Writing Club and The Creative Cabana.

I’m passionate about helping brands grow a thriving and joyful business through soulful copywriting. I also write ‘Flourish & Fare’ over on Substack.

When I’m not at my desk, you will most probably find me pottering around my cottage, ambling in my beloved Cotswolds, cooking up a feast or lying on the sofa with a glass of red.
